The sculpture, ironically titled “SonoCocciTuoi”, features a white structure that, due to its textural quality, suggests both visual and tactile sensations. The very rough surface is enhanced by inlays of blue, fuchsia, and gold glass, creating a vivid and brilliant contrast. These colorful inserts, placed with meticulous precision, emerge like precious fragments that break through the purity of white, giving the work a dynamic and luminous dimension. The use of blue and fuchsia glass introduces bold vibrancy, while the gold adds a touch of elegance and sophistication. The choice of the title, “SonoCocciTuoi”, suggests a wordplay that alludes to the composite and perhaps imperfect nature of the sculpture. It invites the viewer to reflect on the beauty that emerges from fragments and on the personal meanings these pieces can evoke. The irony of the title combines with the sophistication of the materials, creating a fascinating dialogue between concept and aesthetics.

Patrizia Cognetti Since 1984, Patrizia Cognetti has pursued art with an innate passion for drawing and painting, working with a wide variety of techniques. At the age of twenty, she illustrated the book The Shroud and the Popes, creating ink portraits of more than thirty popes, from Saint Peter to John Paul II. Her artistic exploration has led her to paint works characterized by vivid, luminous hues. She is drawn to abstract forms, which allow her to best express emotions, but she also paints skylines and landscapes that have left a lasting impression on her. Her paintings are distinguished by thick, textured brushstrokes and manipulations. Sharp contrasts reflect her confident creativity, driving her to continually explore new directions. Metallic gold and silver tones play a significant role in her work, along with the balanced integration of various materials that harmonize with her already textured painting style. Subjects: Abstract forms, urban settings, landscapes, nature, and occasional figurative works.
